2010 was the worst movie year this century (Yeah, I know it’s only 10 years old, but still).

Is that being too dramatic? Every year there are popcorn-mindless-entertainment movies and end-of-the-year-please-give-me-an-Oscar films. Some are made cheaply, quickly and market-friendly while others are labors of artistic love, fueled by passion an not easily understood at first glance.
